SCOPE: Installation of underground ductbank and vaults for ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems). Install various traffic management systems: in pavement loops, cabinets, conduits, foundations and wire. Install 144-Fiber Optic backbone through ductbank system.

GENERAL CONTRACTOR: J.F. Shea Construction

As prime contractor working for Cal Trans, this project consisted of over 12 miles of underground conduit,16 miles of fiber optic cable multiple Ramp Metering Systems, CCTV Systems, Traffic Operating Systems and Communication Systems. 

This project consists of over 40,000 labor hours and multiple subcontractors performing various types of work.
