Scope: ITS system upgrades along the Hwy 50 Corridor. Approximately 12+ miles of new fiber optics and underground infrastructure installed from Watt Ave. to 1.3 miles east of Folsom Blvd. The underground infrastructure was predominantly installed via the directional drilling method through extremely unforgiving ground conditions characterized by large cobbles and hard pan. The work also included CMS and CCTV installations with foundations extending 50ft below grade and 50ft above grade. The team of employees and subcontractors did a phenomenal job.
