Project Engineer

Studebaker Electric, Inc. is looking for a motivated Project Engineer (PE) whose role will be assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks’ completion.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage, update and distribute construction documents (RFIs, PCO’s, CO’s, etc.)
  • Helps to maintain safe worksites
  • Review, expedite and track submittals
  • Attend job site meetings and maintain meeting minutes (may require traveling)
  • Assist in preparing bid packages
  • Assist in producing and updating project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred)
  • Assist in reviewing and packaging extra work billings
  • Schedule and document client training for new systems and equipment
  • Manage project closeout process, including owner training and archiving project records
  • Field and manage warranty requests

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent current student of any major (Construction Management or Engineering Fields are a plus)
  • Applicable internships and field experience preferred
  • Candidates must have working knowledge of MS Office, various Construction Management Software, PlanGrid, Primavera P6, MS Project, Blue Beam
